We offer high-density, space-saving connectors built for all autosport conditions, from quick-release steering boss systems to connectors with up to 128 contacts, including circular, Micro-D, Nano-D, and rectangular types for hard-to-reach areas.
Souriau® 8STA size 08 – 24 connectors incorporate up to 128 contacts for really high density autosport applications such as engine control, data acquisition and cable harnesses. Available in 5 shell styles, EMI-RFI shielding and shell to shell continuity is provided by conductive plating and an integral grounding ring.
Designed by Souriau® as a compact solution for motorsport engine control units, data acquisition systems and cable harnesses, the 8STA high density connector comes in 7 shell sizes and features size 26 contacts for 24 to 30 AWG cable.
Designed to offer motorsport a host of weight, cost and space saving benefits when connecting engine control systems etc, this Souriau® 8STA in-line receptacle allows easy fixing and easy cable routing in tight spaces. Cable identification is made simple with colour coded bands.
These Souriau® 8STA variants are designed for high density engine control and data acquisition applications throughout autosport. Available in 12 shell sizes – 02 to 24, 8STA PCB connectors use Souriau’s extensive range of 38999 medium and high density signal contact layouts.
These Souriau® circular connectors offer all the advantages of 8D / D38999 / MIL-DTL-38999 Series III compliance, enhanced by weight-saving aluminum shells. For applications where minimizing weight is crucial, even lighter composite shell connectors are available.
The LEMO M series are very compact and lightweight connectors, equipped with a triple start ratchet coupling mechanism. Having many similar features of the larger MIL-DTL-38999 series of connectors, the high-reliability M series is much smaller, while still providing a wide range of shell style and high performance materials.
Another time and weight saving product in the Souriau 8STA series is this integrated clinch nut. Designed to eliminate nut plates, thus making assembly easier, it is available in 12 shell sizes from 02 to 24 for standard crimp and PCB receptacles.
Low profile circular connectors combine high performance with size and weight saving and are ideal for many motorsport applications. Based on MIL-DTL-38999 Series 2, 8TA connectors feature a rugged aluminium body, gold plated contacts and a positive locking mechanism with full environmental sealing.
Axon Rectangular Micro-D Connectors are offered in MIL-DTL-83513 QPL and commercial versions with 1.27mm pitch and metal or plastic shells. Axon Nano-D Connectors offer ultra-compact, lightweight design with 0.635mm (0.025”) contact spacing. Built to MIL-DTL-32139 standards with twist pin contacts, they ensure reliable performance under shock and vibration, ideal for extreme miniaturization and weight-sensitive applications.
Axon Fast-Locking Nano-D Connectors combine the compact size and performance of standard Nano-D connectors with a fast-locking design, enabling quick, tool-free connection and disconnection in extreme miniaturized, harsh environments.
Axon Microstrip Connectors are lightweight, single-row plastic connectors for cable or PCB mounting, offering up to 40 contacts with optional guide pins and secure spring-latch locking for space- and weight-critical applications.
These 2mm pitch connectors have proven high reliability under the most extreme environmental conditions. They are suitable for Board-to-Board, Board-to-Wire and Wire-to-Wire configurations and feature a high reliability contact design.

These high-density rectangular connectors are lighter than micro-D and standard D-subminiature connectors which makes them perfect for a wide range of motorsport applications including engine management systems, sensors and any high-reliability system with space and weight constraints.
The latest motorsport steering boss systems demand quick release and this Souriau® 8STA connector variant provides a reliable and robust solution. Available in 2 shell sizes, these IP67 rated connectors are good for 500 mating/unmating operations and resist high levels of shock and vibration.
Access to engine control and data acquisition systems is not always straightforward and this blind mating plug is a solution for hard to reach areas. These Souriau® 8STA plugs are available in sizes 10, 12, 14 & 16 and allow for misalignment in three axes – axial, angular and longitudinal.
